Zhejiang University-CR Power Intelligent Energy Joint R&D Center Unveiled

On July 2, Zhejiang University-CR Power Intelligent Energy Joint R&D Center was formally established on Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang University. Hu Min, President of CR Power, and Cen Kefa, academician of China Academy of Engineering and Director of Thermal Energy Engineering Institute at Zhejiang University, attended the unveiling ceremony.

Academician Cen Kefa welcomed the arrival of President Hu Min and his party. He said that CR Power, as one of the most efficient and profitable integrated energy enterprises in China, had taken the lead in energy innovation. The establishment of R&D center jointly by CR Power and Zhejiang University marks the strategic partnership between the two sides entering a new level. He hoped that the two sides would carry out in-depth cooperate in the research, development and application of technology as well as talent training and practice, thus making greater contributions to the industrial development and talent training in the field of intelligent energy.

President Hu Min expressed his gratitude to Zhejiang University for their concern and strong support for the Joint R&D Center. He indicated that Zhejiang University-CR Power Intelligent Energy Joint R&D Center was the first joint R&D center established by CR Power and domestically famous university, which shared a common vision in attaching importance to talent training and devoting to transformation and innovation. He hoped that the two sides would create a model of school-enterprise cooperation with this platform and develop a bright future for intelligent energy together.

Relevant leaders such as Ni Mingjiang, Vice Chairman of Zhejiang University Development Committee and Dean of Sustainable Energy Institute, and Gao Xiang, Dean of the School of Energy Engineering, CR Power’s Senior Vice President Jiang Lihui, Vice President Hou Yongjie, and Xi Yong, General Manager of Southeast China Region, attended the event.
